Is Low Quality Media Affecting the Level of Fatigue?

We test whether exposure to low-quality audiovisual content increases viewer fatigue. Across controlled viewing sessions, degraded material elevated subjective tiredness and altered blink behavior relative to high-quality baselines. The findings suggest that long-term consumption of poor quality media can measurably tax attentional resources and comfort.
