We investigate how alternative VR visualization designs for continuous data streams affect comprehension, workload, and presence. Through a controlled study, we compare spatial placement (egocentric vs. exocentric), encoding (shape/size/animation), and temporal buffering on monitoring tasks. Results reveal trade-offs between immersion and readability and yield practical guidelines for instrument panels in analytic and training scenarios.
