Abstract
This paper combines EEG markers with self-report to assess how network-induced quality degradations affect cloud gaming experiences. Packet loss and latency manipulations reduced reported enjoyment and elicited changes in oscillatory activity associated with increased workload and decreased engagement. The results demonstrate the added value of neurophysiological measures for diagnosing QoE impairments in interactive media.
