Augmented and virtual reality for cultural tourism after COVID-19: smarter and more sustainable access to attractions, delivered through AR, VR and cloud applications for travel and event operators.

An assessment tool for residents and a self-evaluation tool for staff in residential long-term care, identifying resources and burdens from the perspective of the people concerned.

Completed 2021. The tablet application was built at TU Berlin and finished in February 2021; it ran offline on 35 iPads and uploaded once a network was available. Seventeen of eighteen care homes in Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern returned data — 232 resident questionnaires against a target of 200, and 225 staff questionnaires against a target of 354.

Neurotechnologies for improving intuitive and efficient human–machine interaction. The Bernstein Focus: Neurotechnology Berlin brought together a multidisciplinary faculty to apply insights from basic neuroscience directly to real-world applications, with a focus on non-invasive „brain reading" techniques.

Within it, project A3 „Neuro-Usability": Neurotechnologies for Human-Machine Interaction used biosignal sensors to measure and model aspects of usability: efficiency, satisfaction and joy of use. This is where my psychophysiological measurement approach originates.
