Motivating New Interaction Experiences Involving Implicit Interaction, Body Sensors, Adaptive, and Persuasive Interfaces

Abstract

This contribution outlines a research agenda for next-generation human–computer interaction that leverages implicit inputs from body sensors alongside adaptive and persuasive interface concepts. We map key use cases in language technologies, discuss sensing and inference pipelines (from physiological data to intent), and highlight design and ethics challenges around transparency, privacy, and user agency.
