Did you notice it? – How can we predict the subjective detection of video quality changes from eye movements?

Abstract
This research investigates whether eye-tracking data can be used to predict subjective detection of video quality degradations. The study finds that gaze behavior, including fixation duration and saccade patterns, correlates with the detection of quality changes, offering a promising method for objective quality assessment in audiovisual research.
