This study investigates attentional processes during gameplay by combining behavioral measures and event-related potentials (ERPs) using an auditory Oddball paradigm. Results show how specific ERP markers, alongside task performance, can provide objective insights into attentional demands in gaming environments, offering a bridge between cognitive neuroscience and game research.
