Abstract
We prototype VR visualizations for balance sheets and income statements to test whether spatialized layouts and embodied interaction aid comprehension. In a within-subjects evaluation, VR supported pattern discovery and comparative reasoning, but dense scenes elevated cognitive load and errors without careful hierarchy and labeling. We provide guidelines for data density, interaction granularity, and viewpoint control when bringing financial analytics into immersive spaces.
