Abstract

This paper proposes methods for estimating Quality of Experience (QoE) in video streaming by analyzing users’ facial expressions and gaze direction. Experimental results demonstrate that these non-intrusive behavioral cues provide reliable indicators of perceived quality. The study contributes to the development of automatic QoE monitoring systems and received the IEEE ComSoc Multimedia Communications Technical Committee Best Journal Paper Award in 2023.
